How to get there

The Issyk-Kul Express Tour runs through the Issyk-Kul region. Start and finish are in Bishkek. You can reach the tour start by plane, train, or car.

Key points of the route: Boom Gorge, northern shore of Issyk-Kul (lake leisure), Karakol, and return to Bishkek. The tour is designed without rush: more time on the water and for walks, minimal complex logistics.

Transfers are mostly on paved roads, no off-road. Comfortable and light format — a great option for a short break and first-time exploration of the region. For individual tours, transport is provided throughout the entire route.

Day 1. Bishkek → Issyk-Kul (northern shore)

  • Route: Bishkek – Boom Gorge – northern shore of Issyk-Kul

Transfer through Boom Gorge. Arrival at the northern shore of Issyk-Kul, accommodation, and lakefront relaxation.

Overnight: Northern shore of Issyk-Kul

Leisure day by the lake: shoreline walks, free time, swimming (seasonal).

Day 3. Issyk-Kul → Karakol

  • Route: Northern shore of Issyk-Kul – Karakol
  • Distance: ~150 km
  • Travel time: 3–4 hours

Transfer to Karakol. Light sightseeing and free time in the city.

Overnight: Karakol


Day 4. Karakol → Bishkek

  • Route: Karakol – Bishkek
  • Distance: ~400 km
  • Travel time: 7–8 hours

Return to Bishkek with stops along the way. End of tour.
